The Chocolate Spoon Company Pvt. Ltd. (“TCSC”) was incorporated in 2012 and launched its first restaurant, the multi-award winning “The Sassy Spoon” in Nariman Point, South Mumbai. Spearheaded by Rachel Goenka, Founder, CEO & author, TCSC was established with the aim of introducing restaurants which offer an enjoyable, diverse and innovative dining experience. TCSC’s portfolio currently includes 7 restaurants, 10 patisseries, 2 central kitchens a corporate catering vertical and 3 cloud kitchens across Mumbai & Pune with more dining concepts & restaurants in the pipeline
Job Summary: As a Chef de partie at Chocolate Spoon Company, you will play a crucial role in the kitchen team, ensuring the quality and presentation of our pastries and desserts meet our high standards. You will work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to create delicious and visually appealing treats for our customers.
Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook pastries, desserts, and other sweet treats according to recipes and quality standards - Assist in developing new recipes and menu items - Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times - Supervise and train junior kitchen staff - Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
Technical Skills Required: - Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Chef de partie - Knowledge of pastry and dessert preparation techniques - Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
Soft Skills Required: - Attention to detail - Strong communication skills - Ability to work well under pressure - Creativity and passion for pastry
Qualifications and Experience: - Diploma or certification in Pastry Arts or Culinary Arts - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
